All participants MUST register with USA Hockey each season prior to registering with the association.

USA Hockey/MN Hockey charges a $15.00 - $80.00 fee per player which is determined by birth year.
Birth Year:
2005 - 2010 fee is $80.00
2011 - 2014 fee is $71.00
2015 - 2016 fee is $60.00
2017 and younger fee is $15.00
NOTE: YOU MUST USE THE PLAYER'S LEGAL NAME LISTED ON THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE WHEN REGISTERING WITH USA HOCKEY AND PCYH. FAILURE TO USE THEIR LEGAL NAME AND PERMANENT ADDRESS MAY CAUSE DELAYS IN ROSTERING THE PLAYER TO A TEAM.
Your player(s) 2023 - 2024 USA Hockey Confirmation Number will be needed to complete your PCYH registration. If misplaced the confirmation number may be retrieved via the USA Hockey portal under member options.
USA Hockey does offer a Scholarship for the USA Hockey Membership Fee for those that need Financial Assistance. Click on the link above for more information and to fill out an application.

Note - you will need a Sports Engine account to register for PCYH. The email/account that registers the player will receive the PCYH correspondence. There is guidance on how to add emails and link separate Sports Engine account on the PCYH home page)
PRE-SEASON Registration Dates:
Both in-person registration dates will be at the Pine City High School (7th Grade Commons Area)
What to bring to in-person registration:
All past due balances must be paid before registering for the 2023 - 2024 season.
For those who are registering for PCYH after Learn to skate:
Registration date - Saturday October 28th, 2023 during the learn to skate session.
- Be sure to bring a copy of your child's birth certificate and at least three checks.
When registering your player follow these guidelines for the level of play:
8-9th graders: Bantam/15U ***(15U will be an MPC Co-op with Mora for the 2023-2024 Season)
6-7th graders: PeeWee/12U ***(12U will be an MPC Co-op with Mora for the 2023-2024 Season - Tryouts will be involved)
4-5th graders: Squirt/10U
3rd graders: Mite A/B/8U
2nd graders: Mite A/B/8U
1st graders: Mite C/6U
Kindergarten and Younger: Mite D/6U
There may be some instances when a player is placed/eligible to skate at a different level than their school grade, when registering put them based on their grade level and if there is an adjustment made, the fees will be adjusted as well.
