Player Registration

IMPORTANT: please use your player's legal name listed on their birth certificate when registering with USA Hockey and PCYH. 


STEP 1 - REGISTER WITH USA HOCKEY

USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION

Click the red 'Register Now' link. Follow all of the prompts to register for the 2021-2022 season.

All participants MUST register with USA Hockey each season prior to registering with the association.  Each participant will pay the USA Hockey fee of $46 and $10 Minnesota Hockey fee (Total fee $56) if age 7 or older. The USA Hockey fee is waived for age 6 and younger. Registration must be completed for all players regardless of age.  
NOTE: YOU MUST USE THE PLAYER'S LEGAL NAME LISTED ON THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE WHEN REGISTERING WITH USA HOCKEY AND PCYH.  FAILURE TO USE THEIR LEGAL NAME AND PERMANENT ADDRESS MAY CAUSE DELAYS IN ROSTERING THE PLAYER TO A TEAM. 

Your player(s) 2021-2022 USA Hockey Confirmation Number will be needed to complete your PCYH registration.  If misplaced the confirmation number may be retrieved via the USA Hockey portal under member options. 

STEP 2 - PCYH REGISTRATION

Register now for the 2021-2022 season!

Note - you will need a Sports Engine account to register for PCYH.  The email/account that registers the player will receive the PCYH correspondence. There is guidance on how to add emails and link separate Sports Engine account on the PCYH home page) 


STEP 3 - ATTEND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING IN-PERSON REGISTRATION DATES:

  • Wednesday August 25th, 2021 – 6-8pm
  • Wednesday September 8th, 2021 – 6-8pm 

Both in-person registration dates will be at the Pine City High School (7th Grade Commons Area)

What to bring to in-person registration:

  • New skaters will need a COPY of their government issued birth certificate (from courthouse).
  • Multiple checks - please bring checks for the volunteer deposit per skater and calendars deposit.  

All past due balances must be paid before registering for the 2021-2022 season.


IMPORTANT REMINDERS

When registering your player follow these guidelines for the level of play:

8-9th graders: Bantam/15U

6-7th graders: PeeWee/12U

4-5th graders: Squirt/10U

3rd graders: Mite B/8U

2nd graders: Mite B/8U

1st graders: Mite C/6U

Kindergarten and Younger: Mite D/6U

There may be some instances when a player is placed/eligible to skate at a different level than their school grade, when registering put them based on their grade level and if there is an adjustment made, the fees will be adjusted as well.
